November 16, at 18:00, in the artistic center "Ilko Gallery", there will be the opening of the exhibition of Ivan Ilko entitled "Process. 1960s."
Continuing the series of exhibitions ̈entitled "Process", we present the exhibition of paintings by Ivan Ilko.
Most of the pictures are painted from nature at the end of 50s and in 60s, they wonderfully convey the spirit of time, immersing the viewer in the immediate process of creativity. And the series of works created this year make the atmosphere of this exhibition even more resonant.
Most of the works are exhibited for the first time.
Ivan Ilko is an artist, representative of monumental and easel painting, successor of the traditions of the Transcarpathian school of painting. At the age of fourteen, he entered the Uzhgorod College of Applied Arts. The artist’s teachers were: Y.Bokshay, A.Erdelyi, A.Kashshay, F.Manailo. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1968. Honored Artist of Ukraine since 1994.
Admission fee: 20 UAH, for students: 10 UAH.
