The Prosecutor of Transcarpathian region sent to the court the indictment against an entrepreneur who had sold 400 bottles of illegally produced vodka with counterfeit excise stamps to one of the catering facilities in Chop.
The actions of the suspect are qualified under Part 1 of Art. 199 and Part 1 of Art. 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, i.e. transportation of excise stamps to be used in the sale of goods, illegal sale and transportation of illegally produced alcoholic beverages.
At present, the accused faces punishment in the form of imprisonment of 3 to 7 years.
