Transcarpathian Regional Local Lore Museum organized in the Uzhgorod castle a scientific and educational event "Birds of my city" dedicated to the International Bird Day.
Every year, it is celebrated in many countries of the world on the first day of April, as it was April 1, 1906 when the International Convention for the Protection of Birds was signed. This was reported by the Pro Zahid.
The educational event for children in the local lore museum was organized yesterday, April 5. Employees of the Nature Department together with the teachers of the Transcarpathian Regional Ecological and Naturalistic Center held an interesting event for children, told and showed them which birds can be found in Uzhgorod, and also arranged for curious nature lovers an interesting quest on the territory of the museum.
