An automatic blood gas analyzer was purchased for Mukachevo Hospital

Mukachevo District Hospital has received a German automatic blood gas analyzer, its cost is 462 thousand hryvnias. The unique device was purchased for local budget money.
Gas analyzers are indispensable in modern medicine. The device comprehensively assesses the condition of the human body, in a few minutes a doctor can see all the important vitals of the patient, so it is necessary to provide effective medical care during critical conditions.
Blood testing is the most popular diagnostic method that allows to identify a variety of pathological conditions within the human body. In addition to urea, protein, bilirubin, it also determines the content of gases in the blood.
It is important for the doctor to know the quantitative content of carbon dioxide and oxygen, since it is these gases that determine the ability of the body to breathe normally. Using the device, doctors will be able to analyze the gas composition of blood, alkaline state, electrolytes – in accordance with the clinical condition of the patient. This will allow to evaluate the quality and process of treatment and to prevent the development of comorbidity caused by coronavirus in a timely manner.
