An “Audi” and a “Toyota” were seized from two Romanians at the border

Two cars, by which citizens of Romania were returning home from Ukraine, were stopped by the State Border Guard Service officers at checkpoints on the state border.

At the checkpoint "Solotvyno", the driver of a car "Audi" chose the "green corridor" lane. But, border guards of the Mukachevo Detachment suspected transportation of items prohibited to be moved across the border in this vehicle. As a result of the inspection, a joint inspection team found 1,208 packs of tobacco products. The foreigner hid the cigarettes in the fuel tank, rear bumper cavities, and the cavities of the rear fenders of his car.

The relevant report was made. The found goods worth 26,000 UAH and the vehicle were seized.

And at the checkpoint "Porubne", border guards of the Chernivtsi detachment and employees of the Fiscal Service seized a car "Toyota" worth 150,000 UAH because of hidden 160 packs of cigarettes. The Romanian had hidden the cigarettes underneath the car lining.
