An attempted theft of state-owned diesel fuel was prevented in Transcarpathia (PHOTOS)

Nearby the village of Luh in Velyky Berezny district, an unauthorized tie-in in the pipeline was detected. A truck UAZ, which the thieves arrived by, and 9 barrels, which they intended to fill with the stolen fuel, were detained. The thieves are wanted by the police.

Late in the evening, the pipeline guards detected an unauthorized tie-in one kilometer away from the village ofLuh in Velyky Berezny district. An investigative team was called at the scene.

Unidentified offenders inserted a tie-in into the pipe, prepared 9 steel drums for the diesel fuel, but the pipeline guards did not allow them to do that. The offenders left their truck UAZ, all the accessories, and fled. They are being searched for. Criminal proceedings over this incident have been initiated.

There are no oil leaks and no threat to environment.
