An attempt to illegally take children abroad was prevented in Transcarpathia

Border guards of the Chop border guard found a forged parents’ consent for taking a child abroad. At the checkpoint "Uzhgorod", during the check of the documents of a bus passengers, a resident of Irshava district presented for passport control a forged power of attorney. The young man and his minor sister were going to their parents in the Czech Republic. During the inspection of the document, the border guards found out that it was obtained illegally, since both parents were abroad at the time of its issuance by notary. Four other children with forged parental consents to go abroad were found today by border guards at the "Tisa" checkpoint. The forms of the documents supposedly issued at the General Consulate of Ukraine in Milan (Italy) were counterfeit. It is currently being established how the travelers obtained those documents.
