An assortment of cigarettes of 7 brands was seized at the checkpoint “Vylok”

Today, at 6.12, a "MERCEDES-BENZ" with registration number of Ukraine arrived at the "green corridor" lane at the ​​customs checkpoint "Vylok" of the Transcarpathian customs office. The vehicle was driven by a citizen of Ukraine.

Given the results of the risk analysis, the vehicle was taken out of the "green corridor" to the "red corridor" for an in-depth inspection.

Before the in-depth inspection, the citizen of Ukraine was questioned, during which he denied carrying goods and items prohibited or restricted for export from the customs territory of Ukraine and hidden from customs control.

During a joint inspection of the "MERCEDES-BENZ", Transcarpathian customs officers together with border guards found cigarettes of different brands produced in Ukraine, with excise stamps of Ukraine in amount of 722 packs hidden from customs control in specially made recesses.

Those were: 254 packs of "MARLBORO TUOCH", 100 packs of "COMPLIMENT SUPER SLIMS 3", 100 packs of "LIFA STRAWBERRY", 50 packs of "LIFA MENTHOL", 68 packs of "BOND BLUE № 6", 30 packs of "LD BLUE", 120 packs of "LM LOFT".

В своєму поясненні українець зазначив, що про приховані в автомобілі сигарети йому не було відомо, і він особисто нічого не приховував.

Наразі, дії громадянина кваліфіковано за частиною 1 статті 483 Митного кодексу України. На підставі статті 511 Митного кодексу України за протоколом про порушення митних правил вилучено цигарки та автомобіль орієнтовною вартістю 30 277 грн. В подальшому справу буде передано до суду.
