In the regional museum of folk architecture, local artist, a member of the National Union of Folk Art of Ukraine, Anatoliy Sakalosh celebrated his 60th anniversary with an exhibition, the Department of Culture of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration informs.
A native of Khust, for over 30 years he has been living in Beregovo, where he is a member of the local art association "Bereg", in addition, he is a member of the creative association of artists and craftsmen of Khust district "Verkhovyna Artist." Fellow artists and friends from the regional organizational and methodical center of culture, art historians and museum workers congratulated Anatoliy Sakalosh on such a representative exhibition.
The artist presented more than 60 works made over the last 10 years, including paintings and wood works. At the exhibition, visitors can see beautiful Transcarpathian landscapes, cozy, colorful sketches of village life, art variations on folk customs, philosophical reflections on the mysteries of the universe, attempts to artistically reflect important social phenomena.
The exhibition will be open for two weeks.
