An American soul singer will visit Uzhgorod

On April 27, at 7:00 pm, American singer Ingrid ARTHUR will perform in the ILKO Gallery.

A member of the legendary band The Weather Girls (the author of the hit It’s Raining Man), the daughter of the original founder, gospel diva from the United States, three-time co-winner of the Grammy Award in jazz, pop and rhythm blues, Ingrid Arthur will visit Uzhgorod for the first time.

Ingrid writes original music in the genres of funk, blues and soul. She started her musical career in the mid-80’s. Ingrid’s musical influences are Mahalia Jackson and Aretha Franklin.

Performing in concert venues in New York, Paris, London and Berlin, Ingrid always receives ovations. In 2013, she sang at the official reception for the US President Barack Obama.
