The Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan informed that an agreement between the UkSATSE and EASA on the audit of Uzhgorod airport had been signed.
Omelyan, who took part in the European Civil Aviation Conference, wrote about this on his facebook.
According to him, this agreement is a key document for resuming regular air services to and from Transcarpathia.
"An agreement between the UkSATSE and EASA on the audit of Uzhgorod airport – a key document for resuming regular air services to and from Transcarpathia – has been signed. I will say frankly that without the active support of Petro Poroshenko, this issue would not have been resolved," – he wrote.
Earlier, it was reported that the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine intends to launch a regular air service to and from Transcarpathia on the order of the president.
