An additional train will be running to Uzhgorod

The railways arranged for additional trains in the western direction. Thus, the Ukrainian Railways arranged for an additional train to Uzhgorod.

This was caused by high passenger traffic on New Year’s Eve. This was reported by the press service of the "UZ".

In particular, the railways arranged for an additional train number 207/208 Kyiv-Uzhgorod departing from Kyiv on December 26-30 and from Uzhgorod on December 27-31. Also, the "UZ" added a train to Ivano-Frankivsk. Train number 217/218 Kyiv-Ivano-Frankivsk will be departing from the capital on December 26-30, and from Ivano-Frankivsk on 27-31 December.

Tickets for all other additional trains will be available after all tickets for regular trains have been sold. "We still have resources to offer passengers additional 60-70 thousand seats by arranging for 20-25 additional trains", – Pavlo Chekalov, the Director General of the Ukrainian Railways said.

Also recall that the "UZ" began selling ticket for New Year’s holidays on Friday, November 15. For the holidays, the railways arranged for over 22,000 seats to resorts.
