International observers from New York, as of 12.30, have visited several polling stations in Transcarpathia. There are currently three observers are at a polling station in the city of Chop.
This was reported by a correspondent of the Uzhgorod Press Club.
No violations have been recorded so far, observers are impressed with the voting process. They are accompanied by the public activist Pavlo Homonay.
One observer noted that in Transcarpathia everything is taking place as in his native Brooklyn, where only the counting of votes is done by mechanical devices. Observers also note that our system is better protected because voting takes place in one day and they have the opportunity to re-count ballots.
