Almost half of industrial output of the region is sold in Uzhgorod district

During January-September 2013, the total volume of sold industrial products (goods and services) in Uzhgorod district was UAH 3185.5 mln., representing almost half of the total regional output. While in the whole region, the volume of industrial output per capita is UAH 5326.7, in Uzhgorod district the figure reached UAH 46099.6, which is 8.7 times more.

According to the Visnyk Uzhgorodschyny, one in five industrial enterprises in the district, or 26.7% of all industrial enterprises were engaged in innovations. Progressive innovations mainly concerned the acquisition of new technologies and implementation of new processes.
