Almost academic lecture by a practicing photographer (Announcement)

The educational platform Nomen is an organization conducting lectures, public talks, walks, educational trips, cultural and tourist programms. Speakers of the Nomen are Ukrainian artists, art historians, critics, researchers, entrepreneurs, managers of cultural and educational projects

During the meeting, we will talk about the main stages in the development of modern photography in the world, analyze visual practices in Europe, Asia and America and compare the features of photography development in XIX and XX-XXI centuries. 
After the lecture, there will be the presentation of the only photofestival in Ukraine "Odesa// Batumi Photo Days" with demonstration of the pictures from Asian photofestivals. http://thephotodays.org/uk/ 
Kateryna Radchenko is a Ukrainian photographer, the founder of the festival "Odesa// Batumi Photo Days". She graduated from Odesa National University – Philosophy and Philology faculties. She studied at the graduate school at Lviv National University.
