“Allo”: help, we’re drowning! Uzhgorod leaky “Crown” floods a known retail network store

As it became known to uzhgorod.in, since yesterday, from the roof of the "Crown" the water has been leaking through the second floor to the store "Allo", located on the first floor. And now in the "Crown" there is no one to turn to.  

Recall, the head of the city property department Oleksiy Kasperov welded the door to the "Crown". Yesterday evening, about five o’clock the rainstorm began and the building was quickly flooded. Now the water on the floor is ankle-deep.

According to our information, all fixtures have fallen off the ceiling. Now the tenant of the space, where the "Allo" store is situated, is going to dismantle and take out the furniture to save it. 

According to him, yesterday they called MOE officers – they came, drew up a report and left. They called the police – the result was the same: the policemen took a look, turned around and left. The Property Department management and O.Kasperov do not respond, neither do the management of the city. 

uzhgorod.in tried to call the officials of Uzhgorod City Hall. Oleksiy Kasperov said that we had the wrong number.   The First Deputy Mayor Vitaly Semal said that he knew nothing about the situation. And another deputy mayor – Yuri Belyakov said uzhgorod.in, that yesterday utilities had repaired everything.

Interestingly, in the city emergency service we were told that they had never heard about this case. The operator recorded the notice of the flooding from the words of the journalist.
