The Ministry of Incomes and Charges and experts of consulting companies are developing a bill on compulsory general declaration of incomes.
That was announced by the head of the Ministry Oleksandr Klymenko on the First National TV Channel on Sunday.
"We are working with the best professionals around the world, I mean England, Czech Republic, Poland, Canada and Australia – these are renowned experts who provide consulting services to us on this issue, we are developing a bill on compulsory general declaration of income" – Klymenko said.
According to him, this bill will give impetus to improve the tax culture of citizens.
"We are now working on the procedure of filling the declaration. Since it is a mandatory universal declaration, anyone who will be filling the declaration must not feel any inconviniences," – he explained.
Speaking about the need to declare income by different categories of citizens, Klymenko said that the bill would provide that only citizens who have more than one sources of income would be subject to the general declaration.
"If a pensioner receives only a pension, then he or she will not have to fill a declaration" – Klymenko said.
