Large, green and beloved. Abandoned and even dangerous. It’s all about it – the main park of Uzhgorod – the Bozdosh.

The park has a large area and old trees, as well as not always good reputation.

For years, people have been trying to return it the old charm that would befit the status of a "monument of landscape architecture", but the attempts have been not too successful. Today, on its somewhat randomly laid and paved with colored cobblestone paths, mothers walk with strollers, and children ride on bicycles and roller skates.Meanwhile, fallen trees and abandoned buildings can be seen nearby. And even a church, which was built there illegally, and now there are several buildings for religious purposes in the park. Meanwhile, the park alleys are a popular place for jogging. But the barbeque area with gazebos currently has not gained popularity for its intended purpose. Although, cyclists exercise near it, which is a big plus because there are no areas suitable for them in the city. It should also be noted that the famous source of mineral water is not at its best. The attractions should be enlivening the place, but there are doubts about their state, as well as about the many cafes scattered throughout the territory.
