Aftermath of bad weather: Kyiv-Chop highway is blocked due to a fallen tree (PHOTOS)

As a result of strong gusts of wind near the village of Syurte, Uzhgorod district, a huge tree fell right on the road, blocking vehicular traffic 
According to the SES of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region, on June 18 at 17:35, the rescue service received a report of a fallen tree on the Kyiv-Chop highway near the village of Syurte, Uzhgorod district. The tree fell on the roadway, blocking vehicular traffic. 
A crew of the 7th state fire and rescue unit was sent to the scene to carry out emergency relief operations. Using a special tool, rescuers sawed the tree, removed it from the place of the fall and restored traffic on the road. Fortunately, no one was injured.
