After the atrocities on Narodna Square, the RSA will hold “a week of human rights”

The head of the RSA Oleksandr Ledyda decided to hold in Transcarpathia a week of human rights.

It is planned that from 9th to 14th of December, officials will be teaching Transcarpathians to defend their rights. Thus, in schools there will be a lesson on "human rights" on the occasion of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Also in schools, cultural institutions, they will be holding roundtables and contests. After the detention of activists, including journalists on Saturday on Narodna Square, the third item of the governor’s order to his subordinates – "to facilitate the organization of programs on the implementation and protection of human rights in the media" – would be very apropriate. Also, the Governor Oleksandr Ledyda ordered the legal department of the RSA "to provide free legal aid for the realization and protection of human rights through a network of community liaison offices and legal clinics."

By the way, we have a visual aid that can be useful for the campaign, exactly on "human rights".
