After May 23, the owners of vehicles with EU license plates will be subject to sanctions – SFS

Starting from May 24, 2019, administrative liability for violating the legislation on import of vehicles will be toughened.

Owners of cars with foreign registration have the opportunity to take advantage of the term of transitional period, which will continue through May 23, 2019.

Note that the responsibility of citizens for exceeding the terms of transit for cars with foreign registration is set out in the new Customs Code, in particular, Article 469 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.

The rules on toughening administrative liability for violations the rules of vehicle temporary import and transit will enter into force in 63 days.
