After Ledyda and Vashchuk’s meeting with the Serbs, Transcarpathian budget has “thinned”

The Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksandr Ledyda ordered to allocate 12,560 UAH from the regional budget to hold the official Ukrainian-Serbian meeting on CBC held in Uzhgorod on 29-31 of October. The money were taken from the regional program of cross-border cooperation.

The main event of the "working meeting" was the signing of the cooperation agreement between Transcarpathia and the Serbian Vojvodina. The documents were signed by the Governor Ledyda and representative of the Government of Vojvodina Slavko Rat. At the same meeting, the Rector of UzhNU Fedir Vashchuk and his Serbian counterpart from the Vojvodinian Academy of Sciences and Arts Serhiy Tamas also agreed on cooperation.

The Governor’s order did not specify what exactly more than 12 thousand hryvnias from the Transcarpathian budget was spent for.
