Admission campaign in UzhNU breaks all records: the number of applicants exceeds the limit

Recently, there was a meeting of the Admission Board of Uzhgorod National University, which summed up the interim results of the second week of the admission campaign, the press service of UzhNU informs. According to the executive secretary of the Admission Board Petro Horvat, more than 18,000 students have applied for admission to the university. 

The secretary of the Admission Board noted the steady increase in the number of applications for all specialties. Currently, the leader is the medical faculty, for which more than 1,000 applications have been filed, but there are a number of faculties that are catching up. So we can say that the number of entrants this year is a record, Petro Horvat said.

There were also entrance tests for applicants for qualification level of "Specialist" and educational degree of "Master" at history, philology, law faculties, department of education, faculty of health, foreign languages, international policy, management and business, social sciences, tourism and international communications.

There was a creative contest in journalism for admission to bachelor degree. Applicants, who wish to enter the College of Humanities and Natural Sciences, took the exam in the history of Ukraine.

On July 22, there were interviews with two applicants for dental and biological faculty, educational degree of "Bachelor". The applicants have perfect grades, successfully passed the interview and, in fact, are the first students of Uzhgorod National University, who have acquired this status during this admission campaign.
