Today, January 17, in the Transcarpathian Regional Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life, there will be the fifth regional festival "Carols in the old village." Caroling groups from all districts of the region will take part in the festival.
At the festival, the audience will have the opportunity to hear Christmas carols performed in different parts of our region in Ukrainian, German, Slovak, Hungarian and Romanian. Interesting Nativity plays will take place accompanied by the Transcarpathian Academic Folk Choir. The holiday will begin at 11.30 with the service in the Shelest Church of St. Archangel Michael, which was built as long ago as in 1777. The grand opening of the festival will take place at 12.30. The festival program includes caroling on the stage and in exhibited huts.
Recall that you will also have a chance to take part in a win-win lottery or to have high-quality photos taken, thereby helping Transcarpathian soldiers.
