On Monday, April 20, community activists Yevhen Rakhimov and Roman Bohuslavsky registered with the Transcarpathian Regional Prosecutor’s Office a statement on corruption offense committed by the Secretary of Uzhgorod City Council Bogdan Andriyiv.
The said document, a copy of which was provided to the publication Zakarpattya online, states that B.Andriyiv, "being the subject of a corruption offense as a member and the secretary of Uzhgorod City Council, participated in the preparation of the draft decision on the establishment of his rank, salary, allowances and bonuses and voted for the draft decision, thus admitting a conflict of interest between his personal (property and non-property) interests and official authorities, and in violation of the law did not report it to Uzhgorod City Council."
Therefore, the applicants request the prosecutor’s office "to draw up a report on administrative corruption offense against the Secretary of the City Council Andriyiv BE."
