According to the information reported by Mukachevo.net a head of press service Traffic Police Department in the Transcarpathian region Anna Trofymchuk said that the accident occurred at the pedestrian crossing near the department store ‘Ukraina’, approximately at 12 a.m.
According to Trofymchuk, a woman pedestrian was going to cross the road. At that time from the street Mynaiska on Svobody Avenue turned car ‘Daewoo Matiz’.
Driver managed to slow down having seen a woman. However, the car ‘Skoda Superb’, which rode behind ‘Daewoo Matiz’ did not managed to slow down completely that was the cause of the collision of automobiles. As a result of stroke ‘Skoda Superb’ moved to the oncoming lane, where he hurt the woman pedestrian.
As a result of an accident woman has suffered and was taken to the hospital. According to unofficial information the woman received light body injuries.
According to eyewitnesses, the car ‘Skoda Superb’ belongs to one of the guards of VIP-Transcarpathians. Some publications have even suggested the car belongs to family of ex-chairman of the Constitutional Court Stryzhak.
