Accessibility is a priority: the government has identified eight reference hospitals in Transcarpathia (LIST)

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the list of health care facilities in hospital districts for the period up to 2023. There will be 211 of them in Ukraine. When determining such hospitals, the accessibility of medical facilities to the patients was taken into account. Patients should be able to be taken to the hospital from any settlement within one hour, the Ministry of Health informs.

Eight reference hospitals have been identified for Transcarpathia.

Reference hospitals are a national priority. Patients with stroke and heart attack will be referred to reference hospitals, childbirth and neonatal care will be provided there. Patients with polytrauma, acute surgical pathology, brain injuries, neurotrauma and more will be referred there as well.
