On Friday, May 24, at 12.00 at the Uzhgorod Greek Catholic Theological Academy named after Theodore Romzha, there will be the meeting with a distinguished countryman – People’s Artist of Ukraine, the rector of the Lviv Academy of Arts Andriy Bokotey.
The native of Irshava district presents his book "Terrestrial and eternal" about his father – the Greek Catholic priest who was arrested in Stalin’s time. The publication includes original documents – letters of Andriy Leontiyevich Bokotey (1909-1992) from Soviet concentration camps and memories of him.
Also the Shevchenko Prize winner will tell about his own life and work. The meeting will also be attended by the the bishop of Mukachevo Greek Catholic diocese Milan.
