On May, Uzhgorod "Bavka" prepares the premiere of the play "Cat and Cockerel", the Zakarpattya online informs.

Transcarpathian puppeteers, this time decided to stage the work of Ukrainian writer, poet, playwright, whose works are rightly included to the treasury of Ukrainian classical literature and school curricula – Oleksandr Oles.

The play "Cat and Cockerel" based of the work of O.Oles about mutual and genuine friendship that is tested in trouble will be interesting for both young viewers and their parents.

The production is helmed by the director, Honored Artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Kutsyk, sets and puppets were made by the art director Tetyana Ulynets, music was was composed by Vyacheslav Polyansky. The production features the leading actors of the theater Olena Pyshka, Yaroslava Yanyk, Andriy Opiok and Pavlo Prodanyuk.
