About 5,000 packs of cigarettes did not get abroad

Yesterday, border guards of the Chop detachment prevented several attempts to illegally carry cigarettes from Ukraine.

In the first case, the border guards of the "Salovka" department received the information about possible illegal transportation of tobacco products to Hungary in advance. During the inspection of the border in the vicinity of the alleged movement of the offenders, border guards found cigarettes of the brand "FEST" in amount of 4500 packs.

In another case, tobacco products were found by border guards of the "Chop" department while checking the freight train, which followed to Slovakia. 150 packs of cigarettes "FEST" were hidden in the structural elements of a gondola above wheel pairs.

The found cigarettes were seized according to the law. Currently, they are identifying the persons involved in the organization of their illegal trafficking.
