Abandoned kindergarten building became the property of the family of Uzhgorod City Council Secretary (PHOTOS)

At Zakarpatska, 22, the former kindergarten is overgrown with grass. Today, the building is a private property. And the land beneath it is formally still municipal.

The building of the former educational accounting department at Zakarpatska st., 22 is completely abandoned – windows are broken, the area is overgrown with shrubs. The current state of the premises can be seen in the photos taken recently.

As of today, the building is not a municipal property – it belongs to the family of the current Secretary of Uzhgorod city council Bogdan Andriyiv, who was elected as a representative of the Party of Regions. 

As Bogdan Andriyiv told journalist, the building was bought at an auction in 2007 by his wife – entrepreneur Vlada Andriyiv. 

It should be noted that at that time – the cadence of the Mayor Serhiy Ratushnyak, Bogdan Andriyiv was also a member of the City Council – as a representative of "Nasha Ukraina".

Although the premise at Zakarpatska, 22 is a private property, the land beneath it and the yard formally still belong to the community. 

At the meeting of November 7, 2014, deputies of the City Council by the decision №1507 (paragraph 1.9) gave Vlada Andriyiv the permission to draft land management project to receive this land plot on lease. 

At the last meeting – June 19 – the deputies considered the issue of adjustment of the land area – from 0.1000 ha to 0.1070 ha. However, this land decision did not receive enough votes.
