Under the procedural control of the Prosecutor’s Office in Transcarpathian region, the investigators of the regional police completed a pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceeding against a resident of Transcarpathia, who ordered and organized printing of posters with provocative content.
It was established that the woman holding the office of the director of an advertising agency ordered and paid for the printing of posters with provocative content with the inscription "Let’s stop the separatists". Subsequently, on the night of 19 to 20 of October 2018, they were posted on the territory of several villages in Transcarpathian region.
In addition, some time later, the suspect ordered and paid for the printing of several posters with similar provocative content and the inscription "Let’s defeat fascism together". They were posted on the territory of Irshava district, on the side of the Mukachevo-Rohatyn-Lviv highway.
The actions of the 31-year-old resident of Mukachevo are classified under Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 165 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is, commission of intentional actions aimed at denigrating national honor and dignity committed by an official.
At present, the prosecutor’s office of Transcarpathian region has sent the indictment to the Uzhgorod City and District Court, the press service of the Transcarpathian Prosecutor’s Office reported.
