A woman stole jewelry from a man who rented an apartment

Law enforcement officers found out the circumstances of a jewelry theft. The choice of a pretrial restraint against the suspect is being decided

The police identified the suspect in the case of jewelery theft from a man who rented an apartment in Uzhgorod. According to the applicant, an unknown person stole a ring and a gold chain from the room he rented.

Uzhgorod policemen found out the circumstances of the incident, identified the suspect and found evidence in the case.

Currently, a criminal proceeding over the theft has been opened under Art. 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The choice of a pretrial restraint against the 20-year-old suspect is being decided.

The suspect faces a fine of up to fifty free minimum incomes, or correctional labor for up to two years, or imprisonment for up to three years.
