A woman in Beregovo left an infant at a bus stop, but then called the police herself

Yesterday, April 12, the police received a report about a newborn baby at a bus stop in Beregovo. An investigative team arrived at the scene and found out that a 29-year-old resident of Mukachevo district had reported the found baby. The woman said she had found the baby wrapped in a blanket and then called an ambulance. 
While talking to the policemen, the applicant admitted that it was her who had given birth to the baby.
Currently, the newborn baby is being examined at the Beregovo hospital. Preliminary examination of the baby revealed that the boy is healthy.
The police is working with his mother. Law enforcement officers hope that the woman will change her decision and will not give up the baby. The police will make efforts to help her cope with the situation and not to deprive the child of maternal attention, the communication department of the Transcarpathian regional police informed
