Yesterday, while inspecting a truck going from Slovakia to Ukraine, border guards found a large batch of drugs restricted for transportation across the border.
The vehicle was going from Germany to Ivano-Frankivsk and, according to the documents, was transporting humanitarian aid. During the border and customs control, law enforcement officers noticed boxes of medicines among the cargo. It turned out that a large number of drug-containing and psychotropic medicines were being moved among them.
The car was sent for in-depth inspection.
A total of 638 units of medicines worth almost 19,000 hryvnias were found in the truck. They were seized in accordance with the legislation by customs officers.
