In December, another waiting room for servicemen was opened – this time at the Uzhgorod railway station, the Ukrzaliznytsya reported. In total, such rooms have already been opened at 10 train stations in Ukraine.
For the convenience of visitors, there is a dining room, bathrooms, showers, seats, TVs, refrigerators, sockets to charge mobile devices, internet access. Soldiers can also use a washing machine, an ironing board with an iron, a clothes dryer, a coffee maker and a kettle.
The first such waiting room for servicemen opened on October 1, 2019 at the Kyiv Central Railway Station. There are similar rooms in Lviv and Odessa, Dnipro and Kharkiv, Mariupol and Vinnytsia, Mykolayiv and Kherson.
All rooms are intended for short-term stay of military personnel (participants of the special operation) upon presentation of an ID and a train ticket (except suburban communication).
