A violator of migration legislation was returned to the country of origin through the checkpoint “Uzhgorod”

The Migration Service of Transcarpathia, together with the officers of the Security Service of Ukraine Office, detained a foreigner with a passport of a citizen of the Slovak Republic, Olga Poshtak, the chief public relations specialist of the Migration Service of Transcarpathia informs. During the inspection, it was found out that the man had violated the rules of stay in our country. At the time of detention, the foreigner, a citizen of Slovakia, had been staying on the territory of Ukraine for 689 days, while the maximum allowed term is 90 days. The violator was brought to administrative responsibility. A fine of 1700 UAH was imposed on him, and he was deported to the country of origin. Employees of the Main Office of the SMS escorted the foreigner to the checkpoint "Uzhgorod".
