This was announced during an interview by the Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Mykhailo Rivis. He said that during a working meeting in Uzhgorod, representatives of the EGTC TYSA, Transcarpathian Regional Council, the Hungarian Development Center and Budaors City Health Center discussed the possibility of establishing in Transcarpathia a reference project of the Health Care Competence Center and a one-day surgery the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional Council informs.
Specialists of a Hungarian construction company have developed a program of actions and a preliminary plan for the construction / reconstruction of the building for the future Competence Center and a complementary program: "The system of the mobile ambulance." The latter will become relevant only after the Competence Center starts operating.
– Although at previous meetings, we discussed the possible establishment of 6-8 Competence Centers Transcarpathia, but as of now it is possible to establish only 2 such centers with complimentary systems of mobile ambulance. It will cover the 20-30 kilometer zone, and its purpose is to provide mobile emergency care to residents of the region – Mykhailo Rivis said.
The next meeting is scheduled to take place in Hungary on July 15, 2017 for the final resolution of all legal and regulatory issues related to the functioning of the Competence Center.
The foreign experts considered in Uzhgorod two options for accommodation of the Center – the building on Griboyedov street near Uzhgorod city hospital and the territory of the Regional Hospital. Thus, they agreed to build a new building on the territory of the Regional Hospital.
