A Ukrainian tried to smuggle cigarettes at 60 thousand hryvnia

The attempt of cigarette smuggling was prevented today at about 4 am by border guards of the Mukachevo detachment.

At the checkpoint "Luzhanka" on the border with Hungary, a 24-year-old citizen of Ukraine tried to smuggle cigarettes. The man arrived at the checkpoint by a car "Citroen", the bottom of which was fitted with a special cache. During the in-depth inspection of the vehicle, the border guards, together with the customs officers, found in a cache 2450 packs of cigarettes "Rothmans" and 100 packs of cigarettes "Glamor"

The cigarettes were seized from the man. The approximate value of the found contraband can make more than 60 thousand hryvnia. Also, the Ukrainian lost his car, the value of which is currently being established.
