Today, October 20, 2016, at the customs post "Tisa" of the Transcarpathian customs office, another attempt of illegal transportation of tobacco products was prevented.
A citizen of Ukraine heading to Italy tried to carry cigarettes in a car "MERCEDES-BENZ".
The Ukrainian chose the "green corridor" for customs control.
During oral questioning, the citizen denied having any goods, including those subject to declaration, and said that he was not carrying any goods hidden from customs control.
During the customs inspection, they found in two doors, which were in the luggage compartment of the car, 426 packs of cigarettes with excise stamps of Ukraine concealed from customs control: 246 packs of cigarettes "Marlboro", 180 packs of cigarettes "Chesterfield".
The cost of the found cigarettes, according to the labels on the packs, is 9,995 UAH, the cost of interior doors is 2,000 UAH.
Thus, the Ukrainian citizen committed acts aimed at moving goods across the customs border of Ukraine concealed from customs control. Currently a report was drawn up, the cigarettes and the doors were seized.
