Recently, at the checkpoint "Tisa", border guards together with employees of the SFS found contraband cigarettes that a citizen of Ukraine tried to illegally export to Hungary.
During a visual inspection of a minivan "Mercedes", border guards suspected the driver of possible criminal activities and sent his car for an in-depth inspection. In the course of the inspection of the vehicle, two wooden columns with a specially made cache were found in the luggage compartment.
This cache contained domestically made cigarettes "Marlboro" in amount of 1000 packs. The driver was fined, and the tobacco products and wooden columns were confiscated by customs officers. The total cost of seized property is 22,000 UAH.
