This morning, at the checkpoint "Luzhanka", border guards of the Mukachevo Detachment together with customs officials, during the joint inspection of a minibus "Mercedes", found 5.3 thousand packs of tobacco products of different brands.
In order to secretly smuggle cigarettes to neighboring Hungary, a 32-year-old citizen of Ukraine had packed them in specially made caches and the minivan design features. Border guards found the contraband tobacco products with the help of the sniffer dog Fox specially trained to find cigarettes.
The report of administrative violation over the detection of tobacco products was made. And the driver, a citizen of Ukraine, lost not only the cigarettes but also his vehicle.
