Today, July 7, employees of the customs post "Solotvyno" of the Transcarpathian Customs found cigarettes hidden in a cache in a passenger car "VW PASSAT" with Ukrainian registration. They were being transported by a citizen of Ukraine, who was traveling to Romania.
In particular, during the full inspection of the vehicle, the customs officers found hidden 500 packs of "Rotmans" with excise stamps of Ukraine. The tobacco products were in specially manufactured caches in the transmission tunnel and the vehicle’s doorsteps.
The cost of the found cigarettes is 17,620 UAH, and the cost of the car is almost 127,000 UAH.
Thus, the citizen of Ukraine committed acts with signs of violation of customs regulations envisaged by Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
Currently, the report on violation of customs rules has been drawn up, the tobacco products and the vehicle were seized.
