A Transcarpathian will take part in the Eurovision national qualifier (VIDEO)

The names of the semi-finalists of the National qualifier for Eurovision-2020 have been recently announced 
16 participants will compete for the right to represent Ukraine at the song contest in the Netherlands.
The list of participants has been published by the Organizing Committee of the National qualifier for Eurovision 2020 to be held in May in Rotterdam. The first two semi-finals of the National qualifier in Ukraine will take place on February 8 and 15, and the final will take place on February 22.
One of those vying for the right to represent Ukraine at Eurovision is a guy from the village of Pavlovo in Svalyava district, Yuriy Kanalosh. He is known to many Transcarpathians for his participation in several singing shows, including "The Voice" and "X Factor".
Yuriy Kanalosh is a member of the band CLOUDLESS, which he joined in 2020. Here is the song “Drown Me Down”, which the band will perform at the National qualifier for Eurovision 2020.
