Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine together with border guard service internal security prevented in Transcarpathia smuggling of amber and cigarettes to Europe.
During the inspection of a Transcarpathian’s passenger car at the customs post "Uzhgorod", law enforcement officers found amber and cigarettes hidden under the skin of the car. Security services seized from the offender thirty kilograms of amber and nearly two thousand packs of cigarettes of various brands.
Urgent investigative activities to determine the origin of the amber continue.
