By the Order of the President of Ukraine dated September 3, 2012 № 535/2012 people’s deputy and the Chairman of the Standing Committee on CBC of Transcarpathian Regional Council Mykhailo Kichkovsky was again included in the permanent delegation of Ukraine in the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe.
As you know, Mykhailo Kichkovsky have been representing Transcarpathian region in the permanent delegation of Ukraine in this high profile international forum of local governments since 2006 and has been an active participant.
With his initiative and support of the general public the Congress of the Council of Europe in October 2010 adopted important for local and regional authorities in the Ukrainian Carpathians decisions on sustainable development of mountain areas. So by the Order of the President he has been appointed to perform an honorable mission for another four years – informed the press service of the regional council.
