October 4-6 in Ternopil the VI Contest of nurse professional skills "Aesculapius-professional" was held. Transcarpathian nursing at the competitions was represented by the senior midwife of the second maternity ward of Uzhgorod city prenatal center. Angela Shamudovsky.
Competition for nurses traditionally was held in three stages: testing, demonstration of practical skills in therapy, surgery, pediatrics and presenting of the contestant’s creative personal vision.
After challenging professional tasks of the first and the second stages of the competition in the third and the last round, called "Talented people are talented in everything," the best nurses of the country showed their creative talents. In the hall of Ternopil Drama Academic Theater Uzhgorod nurse with two other participants presented a dance.
Persistent struggle has given good and confident results – Ms. Angela took the 8th place and hit the top ten. It should be noted that this is the first time in 6 years history of the contest, a regional nurse has hit the top ten.
Each year nurses from different regions of Ukraine participate in the competition – this time 22 regions were presented. Its goal is to increase the level of junior medical specialists and prestige of the nursing profession in Ukraine.
