A Transcarpathian who committed the robbery – beat an Internet-club operator with a hammer and stole more than 15,000 – faces up to 15 years of imprisonment

The prosecutor’s office forwarded to the court the indictment in the criminal trial on charges against a Transcarpathian S of committing an attack aimed at appropriation of another person’s property (robbery), combined with causing grievous bodily harm.

A 29-year-old man is accused of attacking an Internet-club operator in Beregovo on February 2. Striking the latter few times with a hammer on the head, he stole his personal belongings and money, and also "cleaned" the cash register. The amount of stolen items was more than 15,000 UAH.

Thanks to the measures taken by prosecutors, the criminal offense was solved in a short time, and now the fate of the attacker will be decided in court.
