A traditional social event on the occasion of the International Children’s Day was held in Uzhgorod

The event was attended by three dozen orphans and children deprived of parental care. According to the director of the city center for social services for families, children and youth Ivan Flenko, due to unfavorable weather conditions, the event had to be somewhat changed, however, despite everything, its main goal is to support Uzhgorod citizens, to bring them joy. So, they set up for children a sweet table, delicious gifts from the benefactors, and a cartoon in one of the city’s cinemas.

In addition, this Saturday, Uzhgorod City Center for Social Services for Families, Children and Youth will hold other events on the occasion of the International Children’s Day – "Drawing on the Asphalt" (in the "Pidzamkovy" park) and "The Future of Ukraine in the Children’s Hands" (on Teatralna Square).
