On March 4, the holiday of spring will take place in the village of Solotvyno in Transcarpathian region! Mărţişor is a harbinger of spring, and with this motto Romanians in Transcarpathia celebrate their culture, inviting to their main holiday.
The program of the holiday:
12:00 – 12:30 – welcoming guests and visiting the mărţişor exhibition.
12:30 – 12:45 – Opening speeches of the organizers (Gabriel Nicola, the Consul of Romania in Solotvyno, Mykhailo Tokar, the chairman of the Association "Hope" Solotvyno, Ion Botosh, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Romanian Union "Dacia");
– speech of the head of the Regional State Administration, Hennadiy Moskal
– Presentation of the message from the Minister to Romanians
12:45 – 13:00 – A brief history and symbols of Mărţişor – presentation of the Museum of Maramures.
13:00 – 14:00 – art program dedicated to Mărţişor.
